On the Horizon

As technology advances, dentistry continues to evolve and improve patients’ quality of dental and overall health.  One fascinating area coming to the forefront is the role that dentistry can play in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep related disorders.  As medicine discovers how many health concerns can be affected by the amount or lack of oxygen and blood flow, a good nights sleep becomes more and more important.   

 
We will continue to incorporate technologies relating to sleep in our practice as it develops.  We would love feedback from patients in this area!  We want to know if you would be interested in a “take home sleep study” as an affordable alternative to one in a hospital setting.  Let us know your thoughts!

Did you know that all your dental work can be completed in 1 day?

Through years of dental practice and experience we have found that many people are tired of always being told by your dentist or hygienist that something is wrong or you have conditions that we will watch. Truth is, most of the time we are watching them deteriorate until treatment is inevitable and in many cases more involved treatment is necessary.

Many of our patients have discovered the benefits of getting all their dentistry completed in as few visits as possible, sometimes in one day.
With comprehensive diagnosis and focused treatment planning, we can become more efficient with the treatment time in the chair. However, the biggest advantage to comprehensive diagnosis is that it allows to not having to build restorative dentistry into the current physiologic position if a more ideal position would be beneficial.

There are multiple benefits to this approach

• Better esthetics
• Improved positive muscle tone
• Better longevity of dental work

As a result, these patients become our cheerleaders for the practice. They are glad to finally have the teeth and smile they want and are not

Opening March 2012 - Dental Studio 304

We are excited to announce  that we have just recently acquired a building downtown that will serve as a satellite location for our practice.  We will, however, remain at the Northshore location primarily.  We plan on opening the downtown location March 2012.  Our office hours at the downtown location will be Tuesday and Thursday from 7am-3pm.  We are excited about being able to better serve some of our current patients who live or work in the downtown location, plus the opportuntiy of adding new patients to our practice.
